Rihanna, Jessie J + More Featured in U.K.’s Capital FM Ad

RihannaandJessie Jjoin a number of other stars in a new promo for U.K. radio stationCapital FM, which celebrates its 1st birthday this week.

With glitzy lights and video effects behind them, the stars stare into the camera and take turns praising the station.Jason Derulo, Labrinth, JLS, Pixie Lott, The Wanted, Ed Sheeran and Example also appear in the video. &8220;We sing it, Capital plays it, you love it,&8221; the musicians declare. Rihanna finishes the thought by saying, &8220;That&8217;s how you make a hit.&8221;

Jessie J,PopCrush&8217;s Best New Artistwinner, gets more ce time than just about anyone in the promo. Her latest hit &8216;Domino&8217; is now up to No. 25 in the U.S., the same spot she currently occupies in the U.K. wrihannaith the track &8216;Who You Are.&8217;

Thought most of the acts in the ad are British, Rihanna and Derulo make perfect sense as Capital FM&8217;s token Americans. Rihanna has earnedsix number one hits in just five yearson that side of the Atlantic. And as much success as Derulo has experienced in the U.S., nearly all of his singles have charted higher in the U.K.
